We’ve had a great stay. Brilliant accommodation with everything catered for.
We’ve seen many treasures of the North of England and highly recommend the red squirrel sanctuary. The Fountain in Hawes serves excellent food at a great price.

Had the most stupendous weather we’ve ever had in the 10+ years we’ve been coming to Moor Rigg – 2 weeks of hot dry weather. Had a great time as always especially Grassington 1940’s weekend. Saw Red Squirrels on the way to Sedbergh plus Robins in the garden and masses of Grouse, Pheasants and Partridges and the inevitable Birds of Prey. Thanks Peter and good luck with the sale of this special place.

Sadly suspect our last stay at this wonderful place. Thanks for the memories Peter. Great stay as always.

Relaxing few days at Moor Rigg. Dark stormy skies and bright clear days.

Thank you for the lovely holiday. We have enjoyed the cottage and the beauty of the remoteness.

Another fantastic break in a lovely cottage. Saw New Year in at the Moorcock and sad to leave on this sunny morning with a light dusting of snow.
Snow came early in November 2017! Further snow falls in January 2018, just shows that Grisedale is a very special place!
